Forge openings Front and Back
The Habañero - two burner gas forge has identical 6-5/8" wide x 3-5/8" high openings on each end. The forge can be worked from either side by one or more smiths at the same time. Large forge openings provide an escape path for exhaust gasses, without the need for doors. Propane expands 7X during combustion and must be vented. Forge doors can trap gasses, working against the efficient operation of the burners.
Forge openings coated for longer life
Vent ridges at forge openings are now coated with ITC-213 to reduce wear from hot exhaust gasses. (Habañero shown with optional second stock support)
